I know there have been several topics and tutorials about mcreator mobanimation and i know how to animate the mob. But i have made a raptor with parts that are rotated. In techne you can't rotate pieces (childparts) so i didn't make any. Because of that the other parts of the legs, body etc didn't move along ofcorse so i followed a tutorial on how to animate the mob trough coding. What i did is basically copying the parts that i selected in mcreator for the animation and pasted them and edited the names to the parts that had to have the same rotation as the box on top of them. After i finished that my model looked even weirder... All parts were in the wrong place and not rotated anymore... If you need to see my code respond so i will post it. I hope anyone can help
Let me look at your code, but the best advice I can give you for now is to just experiment with the code until you get something that works. A six for example in the wrong place could easily make the mob explode given carrots. Code is very subtle, and you just have to experiment with it.
what minecraft version are you doing this for? If it is 1.8 or above, i will recommend using the ingame model making program called tabula. You can do the child parts using that. But animation on tabula models won't work with 1.7.10.
I'm not English but i certainly didn't ask for the definition of Animation or how an Animation works...
