Custom blocks in structures

So, I've got a qestion recently. Is it possible to make a structure gen with your own custom blocks? I mean, how can you add custom blocks to the scheme files? Thank you in advance.

Yes, however mcedit wont

Yes, however mcedit wont recognise the block but when adding the schematic into the mod it'll recognise the block.

mcedit isn't the choice for making modded schematics you would need the schematic mod 

to create modded stuff

The schematic mod can only be used for certain versions of minecraft. Mcedit has additional features and you can EXPORT and IMPORT schematic files which you have created or downloaded. It can also run on all versions of minecraft.
