I don't mean this to be disrespectful to the community of mcreator, but I want a straight answer on why users aren't allowed to upload the mod to curse forge and make money from something like adfly. One of the selling points for mcreator is that it speeds up development times and could be used by people who already know how to code. One of the biggest reason to make a mod is making money. Why would I use mcreator if I already know how to make mods using eclipse or intellij and be able to make a profit off of it? I understand it sounds selfish but if I spend months coding a massive mod such as draconic evolution/thermal dynamics/chisel I would want to payed for my effort, which isn't unreasonable.
You can't sell mods made with MCreator because MCreator is free and this is a deal between software maker and end user.
If there would be enough interest, we can make a commercial license for MCreator which would be paid and would allow commercial use of mods, but I don't think this will happen.
I think you can put your mod on Curse Forge but you cant add donation to it
Main reason for that is because code that was used to make mod elements was writen by Klemen and by selling or getting donation for your mod you actually stealing his code
