How do I make a block detect a Redstone Signal

Hi!

I need help with something, also for clarity, I am using the new 1.8.0 MCreator, if that helps, anyways, back to the problem.

So yeah, I want to make it so that when a custom block detects a redstone signal, it does something.

I have looked litterly everywhere in the Procedures area, not one thing relating to my problem, only making the block send a redstone signal.

Where is the Procedure for detecting a redstone signal, or am I missing something completely obvious?
