Making a chicken like creature lay items at set intervaults

I am trying to make an animal in minecraft that basically poops out an item at set intervals.

You can use mob tick trigger…

You can use mob tick trigger and use random probability to reduce the amount of spawning. Then use spawn gem to spawn the desired item.
