I'm trying to make a mob which would leave a trail similar to how snow golems do, Is it possible to do that, or even "layers" like snow on MCreator?

I'm trying to make a mob which would leave a trail similar to how snow golems do, Is it possible to do that, or even "layers" like snow on MCreator?
You could make different blocks for different layers and then replace them based on the layer height, but with one single block, this is not possible yet.
