The item is normal on the top picture but its facing the wrong way in the second pic
I want the item in the second picture to face the same direction in the first

If you used a custom .json or obj file, it might work. (a good software for json files is blockbench)
Well, there are no pictures, but I can still explain to you what to do. Is your model an OBJ or JSON? If it's an OBJ then, to my knowledge, you're pretty out of luck because I don't think you can specify how they render in-hand. JSON is trivial to fix if you open the model file and fiddle with the "display" numbers a bit.
