Try setting its height variation to 0.
It already was but it still does have hills but quite small
I don't think one can make superflat like world with normal overworld generator. We might add superflat dimension type in the future updates.
Ok thank you for your help :)
You are welcome!
This is sort of what Im looking for, but I looking for how to just make a completely flat biome. It even says on the main mcreator page for biomes that "0 height variation is like an ocean" so why not make it so. I think this would be a nice option to have because there is plenty of cases where it would come in handy, like making a salt flats biome or something. Im posting this here because I cant make a pull request in github.
Can it dip into the negative I wonder?
you can set height variation to a negative value, but if you go too far into the negatives it will reverse the effect and you will start making a shattered savannah type biome
Ummm... this is 2023, and i dont even SEE a 'hight variation' option. Help?
Thats because height variation was removed in 1.18 since with the world generation changes it doesn't really work anymore. Instead theres erosion where lower values are flatter.
why did they remove the height variation thing?
Minecraft devs decided to overhaul the system and take a different approach
