Custom block model doesn't work
Sun, 09/08/2019 - 12:34

I made a mod that adds a block with a custom model. But when I place down the block I get the purple missing texture model instead. The model file name is all in lowercase. What can I do?

a few things: did you import…

a few things: did you import through json or obj? if you did it through json you have to go to the resource editor in mcreator and make sure you have the proper textures on it. if its obj, make sure you import both the obj and mtl files. if all else, make sure if there is transparency on the texture that you check the transparency box when making the block

also if you made the model in Blockbench click properties and make sure the Parent Model text field is blank, and the name of the model in mcreator matches the block model's name
