Is there a way that a specific tool does more damage at a specific mob?

I'm trying to make a sword that does more damage to zombies than to other mobs. I'm new at modding and i need some help at coding

I am making emerald ruby sapphire swords, and ruby will do this to nether mobs, sapphire to water mobs, and emerald to raid mobs.
