Upgrading to 2020.2
Sun, 03/29/2020 - 04:22

Hey, I've recently got the new version of MCreator (2020.2), but I can't find a way to move my existing workspaces from 1.8.3 to it.

Exporting it to a .mcr doesn't work as the new one wants a .mcreator file.

Anyone know how to upgrade it?

1.8.3 is an oooold version, I think you need to remake all your stuff from 0. Moreover, 2020.2 changes a lot of stuff at code level so even if I was in 2019 version, I did my mod from 0 in 2020.2...

Workspaces have changed…

Workspaces have changed between the 1.8,3 and the 2020.2, so import your old workspace into the converter (you can find it on the wiki), and after import the new workspace into MCreator 2020.2.
