How to attract mobs by a specific mobs ?

Hello I would like to make a system of dung to which some entities make appear a specific block that is nothing else of a custom blocks resembling dung, when the entity touches the block, then the dung disappears, only I would like to know how my scatophage mobs can be attracted by these dung blocks.
