Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
The biome restriction feature is extremely useful when it comes to making blocks spawn in a few biomes. The annoyance comes in when you want a specific block to spawn in every biome or most biomes excluding a few, that you don't want the block to spawn in. It would the remove process of having to restrict a block to every biome except for the one you don't want it to spawn in. I think this feature would some people who focus on biome themed plants, or "forageables. " For example I am working on a (private) mod based off Stardew Valley. I am creating forageables like the ones in the game. but the problem is some of the plants are spawning in the desert and mesa biomes. When that happens I have to restrict the spawning of said forageable to every biome except for those two, which takes a while because I have multiple custom biomes. Basically my feature request would be to have a Biome Excluder option below the Biome Restriction option to speed up said process. If there is another solution that I can use currently explain it below.
Anyways thanks for creating this modding software. It's been extremely helpful for me.
I was opening an issue page about this right now when i suddenly discovered this page
But it is a great idea .Im working on a cave update and I wanted to make underground biomes respective to their surface biomes(by making an ore type or a stone type spawn in specific biomes) BUT IT IS A PAIN!! I worked on one stone trying to make it spawn in jungle but 1. I worked on it for 1 whole hour and 2. In my first test it spawned in an ocean biome. So this really must be in mcreator(Maybe this can be like a restriction AND specifying.
Great idea
sorry i misunderstood the restriction thingy now i have no problem!
