The item doesn't hold in the slot

I created a new slot, assigned it to a button, created a scroll, and Made it so that when I clicked with this scroll in my hand, a certain item fell into this slot. but it does not go down, and if I open the Gui with a new slot on the assigned button and try to put the item, then when I close the item goes back to the inventory. What am I doing wrong?
