A feature to let blocks generate like grass. As an example, a mossy stone type block that replaces any stone under direct sunlight with mossy stone.. not exactly sure how to word it.
(by the way, i'm not requesting the ability for blocks to turn into others when exposed to sunlight for long enough, i just want a way to make a block that can generate similarly to grass blocks.)
