Squid Animations

I made a squidlike mob, I want to make it move just like a vanilla squid however I don't know of a way to do that, so the model just stands straight up. Anyone know how to program a mob to move just like a squid, or any possible way around it?

So if you use Blockbench to create models, it is possible to animate them with whatever animations you want. Since Blockbench doesn't support directly animating Java entities, you'll need to install the GeckoLib Animation Utils plugin. Just do Filter -> Plugins -> Available Plugins and select it from the list. You should reload Blockbench and have the ability to animate.

I managed to get the animation working in Blockbench, but it doesn't transfer to Mcreator. What else do I need to do?

Sad news, but just realized that you cannot import animated models to MCreator from Blockbench :'(. This is cause it exports in two separate elements: a java file and a json file for the animations. This could be a feature request for the future though.
