HELP! Ambient Monster Mob Spawning

I'm making a zombie apocalypse mod, so I set the custom zombies to ambient so they spawn EVERYWHERE. It worked, but only in the dark. Is there any way i can set it so that they can spawn anywhere? The mob is set to monster (because thats the only other factor i think is relevant).

Ambient - This is one you need to watch out for. Ambient creatures are identical to regular Creatures but are simply a different category to make sure that both types of creature will spawn. The problem? Bats are the only ambient creature in vanilla Minecraft. They can also only spawn in the dark. If you set a mob to Ambient, and allow it to spawn in the light, expect it to be ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE.

How do i allow it to spawn in the light though?
