Hi,
Just started working with MCreator and loving it so far. Only working with simple blocks and textures for the time being but I've still got an issue. I've created a block which I'd like to have a 'hole' in two facing sides. I've enabled transparency and it DOES make the 'hole' but the inside faces of the sides of the block are also showing as transparent which gives a very weird effect.
That's just simply how Minecraft renders blocks. To get around it, you'd need a custom block model (which is quite easy to do).
Thanks. I had a feeling that might be the case, but I don't know the internals of Minecraft well enough. To Blender I guess.
Or you could use blockbench, its pretty cool and was made for custom models.
