So I and a bunch If other people had this issue It didnt mattered which direction we made the 3D model or direction we pointed the 3D model would be shot sideways anyone knows how to fix this?
Hey there, I think I know a way to make the 3d model shoot properly, I assume that you are using Blockbench to model, you can make your projectile shoot properly by going to the display tab => Ground. I also got this problem when I first started making models for my mod, to fix it, you have to rotate your model, a throwing knife perhaps, you have to make the point of the knife opposite of the Z axes (the blue arrow), like the blue arrow points to the back and the throwing knife's point points to the front, I hope you understand what I mean (since English is not my first language) I did attach a picture below for you to understand further. I don't know this method work for other types of model rather than .json but I hope this somewhat helps you.
