I am looking for the best way to get custom textures and models into mcreator. I have tried a couple and they do not seem to work, I am looking for a tutorial or something else so I can get custom and cool mob/block textures.
If you mean making textures and models then Blockbench.
I don't know how to use blockbench but want to make a model and texture for a unicorn. Anyone got some ideas?

Where is blockbench?
On your internet browser, search for Blockbench. or got to their website - https://www.blockbench.net/ and download it for your computer. You could use the CEM template models as reference.
