How to make a block making sound from time to time?

Hey!

I am making a mod, which adds some ores to the game, and I made one of them horribly rare. There once was a mod, called MineFantasy which added a very rare and powerful ore. To make it actually... findable, AnonymousProductions, the author of the mod, made the ore making a sound every second or every 2 seconds.

I want my ore to make sounds too, but I don't know how to. Can somebody help?

Use random display tick trigger and play sound for it.
