Hello there,
I have been trying to fix a couple of issues that are preventing me from testing my mod.
I am being prompted to clear my gradle cache but I have chosen both options and the problem has not been resolved.
Something is wrong with my Dimension but I can't quite figure it out. Above is a link to a screenshot of what the console is telling me.
First, verify antivirus is not doing any auto-removal stuff as this can mess gradle files.
In some cases, Gradle caches that make sure the build process does not take too long can get corrupted. In such a case, go to:
<your user home folder>/.mcreator/gradle
In this folder, there is a folder called caches. Delete this folder and open MCreator again. Next build will take a bit longer as caches need to be rebuilt. If you can not delete all files in this folder (which is necessary), reboot the computer first to remove any potential file locks.
If this is not enough to make things work, delete the entire gradle folder, not just caches, and try again.
If even this fails, try to delete the entire <your user home folder>/.mcreator/gradle folder, create a new workspace with the same generator version as the version of the workspace failing, after the setup of this new workspace is done, open your current workspace, and click Build & run -> Build workspace, then Build & run -> Reload gradle project and then Build & run -> Regenerate code and build.
Once i'm in the problem and I tried everything on the wiki and none help.I left it for a month and it become OK!
I know this topic is a few months old now, but I'm having the same problem but there is no cache folder, not even when I restart my PC, I don't see it, and I want to keep my workspace, can I get some help?
my chases file just disapir when i close mcreator it appir when i open the project
My Gradle was corrupted so i hit the rebuild button and know nothing works.HeLp!
just shift delete gradle and mcreator folders in your user folder
if that dosent work use a diffirent windows version
since win 11 has billions of problems
actually i found the solution
shift delete gradle and mcreator folders in your user folder
restart your computer
then it should work
if that dosent work download a diffirent version then run that version
I faced this problem yesterday, tried every way from Klemen and nothing helped. I tried to reinstall MCreator but no use. Is it any other way to solve the oroblem? Or just wait and hope for best?
Yes, it's working on older version, but my mod already was downloaded on newest one and I just can't open it on 2024.1. So only decision for me is waiting for next update or forgot about my mod
