Topic category: Help with MCreator software
Hello!
I recently got a new laptop, and I wanted to move my workspaces over, so I decided to export them all as shareable zips and move those to the new pc. I then installed the latest release, downloaded the 1.12.2 plugin that my mods require and tried importing them. It got through 'stopping running gradle daemons', then did stuff for a minute and then it gave me an error. The copied error can be found here: https://pastebin.com/siq4a2YZ
Things I've tried:
- Deleting the gradle folder in \.mcreator\
- Uninstalling and re-installing MCreator
- Installing different versions
- Adding MCreator as a Windows Defender Firewall exception
I really hope this can be fixed. I work hard on my projects and I'm scared they'll go to waste because of this issue. Thank you for taking the time to review my issue!
How fast is your internet?
Quite fast. I've never had problems with it before...
Could it be antivirus?
It might be, I'll try to fix it.
The issue has been solved! After much trial and error, this is how I fixed it:
- Switch to a faster WiFi network
- Turn off your firewall
