Simulating knoback with procedures

So. i want to know if there is any way to simulate knoback with procedures-(Not items.).

plugins... anything

I haven't found anything related/with a answer to this question

 

i'm making a wynncraft Multi hit type attack

which deals damage and knoback every tick

the damage I manage already to overpass minecraft immunity frames

but the knoback is something that i cannot reproduce 

could you help me?

you could try by getting the direction of the hit and making the target entity teleport to the opposite direction, but that is honestly just oversimplifying it

you could also try by making a sword tool type called Test or smt like that, and copy the Knockback Code on it, then on your procedure paste it on the block where you deal damage
