An interesting pickaxe idea, don't know how to do it. (Procedures)

I had an idea for a pickaxe I'm making, whenever you mine a block with it, it mines all the blocks in a 10x10 radius, and drops the blocks too.

It's a little idea I wish I knew how to do, but I don't, I got no base and I don't know where to start at with it.
