Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
This would let you open any old mods you made to edit/update them if you forgot to keep the workspace.
It would also let you reverse engineer other people's mods, and figure out how they did a particular thing.
This is already possible, if you find the workspace you want on your computer (will be a .mcreator file) then if you click open workspace and clicking on that .mcreator file it will open that workspace also if you do this it would be smart to move the .mcreator file to your desktop so you can find it easier in mcreators file searcher. Here is what I mean.
So basically, this is one of the worst ideas ever, here's why: Imagine you work hard on a mod, publish it, but some idiot comes and converts the mod to .mcreator, he would have the workspace, therefore, he could publish it wherever he wants without no consequences. He would have the credit of the mod, not you.
So, just create a Folder on Documents called "Backup Workspaces" or smt like that, and always save your workspaces there.
im agreeing with rex. imagine you worked hard on a mod then publish it and then a idiot comes along and puts it into a workspace then ruins you mod by like.. deleting a bunch of stuff and publish it again... basiclly a bad idea (sorry if english bad)
