How to make totem, when u follow the video how to make totem but when u try it u found out there no particle and sound and even just hurt even half a heart the totem use it right. But don't worry me and help from RexCerv found out how to do it!
Steps
- Create ur totem as item
- go to trigger and find When item in hand tick and create a procedure
- Then copy my procedure ( if don't want to copy it u can download my file and export .LINK : https://www.mediafire.com/file/0dp4f4ogbiu1pty/totem.ptpl/file )
5. U can edit the particles and effects and sound as u like ( the procedure that I circle it)
DONE your custom totem is done

bro it works but if u take a hit can kill you in one shot like creepers it doesnt work.
how about just making procedure "before entity is hurt"
if item in main hand of event target entity = [totem item]
if [current health of entiy] < [amount] (you can find amount blok in provided dependencies)
show totem like animation
remove item in main/off hand
set health of entity to 4
add potion resistance with amplifier 255 for 15 ticks
add potion (effects you want to add when totem is used)
wait [15] tick than on server-side (add this if you want to give player resistance effect)
add potion resistance x for x ticks
