I'm making a chicken like mob, and i want the mob to spawn sometimes in a baby version, just like how minecraft chickens have 5% of spawning as a chick.

well it really depends on how it will spawn, if you mean eggs, procedures
but you will need to specify the nbt tag of baby
Not necessary, when entity joins the world if random >= then despawn adult and spawn baby or just keep adult + baby as you prefer
