Description : Trying to create a world while your mod has a biome that uses either giant pine trees or giant spruce trees crashes minecraft on world creation and loading
How to reproduce : create a custom biome and choose either giant pine or giant spruce as tree type, then creating or loading a world will crash minecraft

Same problem. I found this error too. I will leave this reply so that there is a better chance for the developers to notice it.
I have told them the bug on Github.This bug will be fixed in 2022.2
