Problems with exporting models from blockbench (java)

Hello, i have recently encountered a problem with some java models being exported in a way that makes mcreator unable to properly rig the models. I checked the files and blockbench seems to be making a different kind of model than the one im used to, and i think this is whats causing this issue. Does anyone know how to make blockbench export the java models properly?
