Like the title says, I'm wondering how/iff possible to make diagonal bounding boxes. I've seen other mods do it, so I know the boxes themselves are possible, but those mods are handcoded. Does anyone know of a way to edit the bounding box config to make it diagonal? I've tried adding rotation parameters, but no luck. If anyone has an idea, I'd love to hear it.
The way even mojang does it is with a step ladder sort of shape. (the lecture, for instance)

Yeah, thats what I've been doing, but I swear I saw real diagonal boxes at some point. Maybe I'm just remembering wrong.

yeah you cant make it without some fancy fancy coding
But if you do that with a lot of cubes, that might be laggy. I´m doing all my diagonal block with many small cubes. While testing after placing on of this blocks and looking into its direction my FPS drop from around 360 to 4. Just because of 1 Block. I guess there are to much bounding box cubes.
