I am making a mod that gives you "skills" like combat, which increases damage depending on how high it is and levels up for each of the mobs you slay. Or "crafting" which goes up for how often you craft and makes items you craft higher quality. I want to make a skill called "stealth" that is exactly what it sounds like, but I don't know how it should level up or what advantages it gives. I was thinking along the lines of time spent crouching, but that is something you could easily AFK and get that skill up to maximum overnight.
For Ideas for what the skill could do, if you crouched you could go invisible.
For leveling up, you gain skill exp whenever you damage something while crouching or while invisible
Or if you have any custom weapons in this mod, you could gain exp when using the assasin's knife, which deals more damage the higher level of stealth skill you have.
That's a good idea thank you and yes there are going to be quite a few new weapons.
