Well, I've had this error several times: Executing Gradle task: eclipse
Could not install Gradle distribution from 'https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-7.2-bin.zip'.
where this link clearly appears; 'https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-7.2-bin.zip', which I downloaded manually, since the error says that it failed to download itself. My problem is that I don't know where the 'zip' file goes, so that the program takes it and loads it itself!.

Probably the topic starter will not read this, but I had the same problem and I found the solution. You need to download the zip file with link from the error, then add to the name of the folder inside "-bin" and then paste the folder to:
C:\Users\<your username>\.mcreator\gradle\wrapper\dists
For me it was:
C:\Users\stalz\.mcreator\gradle\wrapper\dists\gradle-7.4-bin
