Animating a blockbench model in Mcreator 1.18.2

I have been creating a mod and I have a model that I have implemented with the basic animations from mcreator. I want to add a breathing animation and an attack animation. Any help on this? If it helps I have created a .json file for the animation I want with the GeckoLib pluggin on blockbench but am unsure as to what to do from here. I know that you can't use an external animation like that so I want to know what my options are for 1.18.2.
