how to make changable techniques?

Hello, im sorry if my english is bad its not my first language, anyway how can i make it when i press a key it changes the technique of the sword like first it creates fire and then i press R and it switches and makes it so it creates water or something like that. It would realy help if its in a screenshot as this is my first mod and im still not fimiliar with the locations of some commands. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!
