Item/blocks selection window freezing

It's a really annoing problem - often when I tring to select item or block in procedure the window freezes and blocking all the programm. I can't choose block/item, I can't close this window, the only way - close programm from Task Manager and loose all unsaved changes. It's an old problem from one of the first versinos of programm.
