i cant make a mob spawn in daylight, but if i make it a creature thats aggressive it does no damage

im trying to make an aggressive mob that spawns in daylight, i set it too a creature because someone said to do that. It now spawns in daylight its still aggressive BUT it does 0 damage now, so it just chases you and does no damage
