Why in the world is Mcreator not using minecraft textures that are actually from the game in their presets?! I tried making a grass block but the dirt texture they made me use sticks out like a sore thumb compared to all the other dirt in the game! Did they just use some random texture pack they found online!?

Hello! It's a pretty simple answer really;
Copyright.
They can't use the same textures because of copyright, they can't legally use them. I am sure they could if they asked, or maybe they did and were rejected, but they just can't. I am not that knowledgeable of this and I heard it from passing rumors so take this with a grain of salt, but it makes sense and this is what I think the reason is.
They are hand drawn by our team from scratch for obvious copyright reasons
