I'd like to add the ability to use my 1.19.2 mod on 1.19.3. This shouldn't be an issue since 1.19.3 is very similar to 1.19.2. How would I go about doing this in the code?
Would I need to change the forge version in the build file to 1.19.3?
There was alot more changed in 1.19.3 than you think. Almost no 1.19.2 mod can be used in 1.19.3 without changes to its code.
But surely most of the underlying code is the same, how could they change so much in a small update? The mod im trying to convert to 1.19.3 is super simple? Either way thanks for the insight.
There could be lots of different changes made to the code in 1.19.3 but there is probably a lot to change little things here, and there, and there, and there, and so on. I hope they eventually add this support though.
They have updated to 1.19.4, but Klemen and Goldorion stay in the present and never go back to the past, so unless someone makes a plugin, we wont have 1.19.3
