Topic category: Help with Minecraft modding (Java Edition)
created a few mods in Mcreator, now I want to use them in Minecraft Java. I'm new to all of this so not sure where to start to get the mods transfered to the game. I watched Youtube and it shows to download Forge. Everywhere online says Forge is free, but the site is askign for a one time fee of $19, plus a monthly fee of $19. Is that really the only way to use your mods that you create in Mcreator?? help! just got a gaming PC and really want to get started but getting frustrated already.
Oh god yes, Forge is 100% free if you see anything else it's a virus/ad that pretends to be forge.

Make sure you download the correct version of forge from Forge's website, being the one you've made your mods on.
