How do I customize existing textures for Bedrock add-ons?

Hi! I am trying to make an add-on for Bedrock, and was wondering if it was possible to edit existing textures? If so, how? Specifically looking at environmental textures (sun, moon, clouds, etc.) Help appreciated!
