Has anyone else noticed that you now need armor layer 1 and armor layer 2 type .png files for use as an armor texture in 2022.3?
Basically in order to actually add my custom texture to my custom Blockbench armor, I need to name it "itemname_layer_1.png" or "itemname_layer_2.png"
What's more, I now need both a layer 1 texture AND a layer 2 texture for my texture to work, and if my texture (which again is for a custom Blockbench model) doesn't fit the dimensions of vanilla armor, it renders completely wrong in-game.
Is there any work around to this new system? Sorry if this is really obvious
Pls get back to me soon if possible, thx to whoever can provide support for this issue
Ignore all of this, I had a brain fart and completely forgot that the model can be edited in the advanced settings for the armor piece and that it takes the texture from the armor model automatically. :P
