When a mob tries to attack another mob, it would run toward it and attack.
The thing is that sometimes when a custom mob attacks, it would navigate to its target and just be a tad bit away from its target so that it won't be able to hit it. (tested on biped model)
If two different custom biped mobs want to fight each other, there is a small chance of them just staring at each other without getting close enough in range for them to attack. (something external must nudge one of the attacking mobs in order to let them continue the fight)
To fix it, either make the mob navigation walk closer to the target mob or allow the mod makers to adjust the mob's attack reach.
I have experienced this too. I hope this gets fixed.
i have the same problem to, did yall find any way around ? 2024.2 still have this issue
