How to add custom mobs spawn-able on snow?

Hello! I have created a custom entity that can only spawn in snow/ice biomes. It seems that the snow is preventing them from spawning the way I want them to. Is there any way to be able to make the custom entity/mob spawn-able on snow such as rabbits, wolves, foxes, and goats? Thanks!
