Portal refuses to work

Literally the first thing that I added to this mod was the new dimension and I immediately faced a problem that no one had before

So I save the new dimension and it goes fine, then I open minecraft and everything still seems fine, then I start a new world, build a portal, ignite it and then jump into it, but NOTHING HAPPENS! I just stand inside the portal blocks and nothing happens. I tried standing longer and still nothing happened. That was the first mod element that I added!

In the long and confusing console text, I found this red text: Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "net.minecraft.server.level.ServerLevel.dimension()" because "p_9180_" is null so I guess it might be useful because it is red
