for my mod, one of the items requires you to die with an item equipped to get another item that is vital to accessing other parts of the mod. i would love it if someone could show me how to detect if a player is in hardcore mode so it could unlock a seperate crafting recipe or something so they aren't locked out of some parts of the mod!
have you look in "world data" ? I think the block 8 can help you ;-)
ah i see what you mean, but there's nothing related to hardcore in there
The block I'm thinking of is the one who say "If the gamemode is set on PEACFULL".
You can click on "PEACFULL" and it will show you the different gamemodes.You just have to select HARCORE and it's done.
