Minecraft replacing block instead of placing
Tue, 07/04/2023 - 12:29 (edited)

So I'm trying to create a mod, but when testing instead of placing blocks Minecraft replaces it.

This only occurs to blocks from the mod, and doesn't occur with the same block (if I place a block then place again, it doesn't replace).

This hasn't happened before. The Is Replaceable? checkbox is disabled, and the material is grass

If it replaces blocks…

If it replaces blocks instead, maybe the issue is that you forgot to modify the coordinates. E.g. if you directly get the coordinates of the right-clicked block and place another block there, it will replace the right-clicked block.

There is no "On right-clicked" action. It's just the normal placing without any triggers
