Nerdy's geckolib plugin animations won't stop playing

Nerdy's geckolib plugin animations won't stop playing

hello, as the title says i have been using Nerdy's geckolib plugin v4.8.7 (for MCreator 2023.2 on minecraft 1.19.4) and for some reason when i play any animation either on items or entities they get stuck on this animation forever, no procedure works to stop or replace the playing animation (this only happens if the animation is in loop mode "loop" or "hold on last frame") so the only way to stop the animation is to restart the game, i don't know why this happens, i have created different workspaces, i have tried following the tutorial again and again, i have reinstalled MCreator at least 2 times as well as reinstalled the plugin, also reinstalled blockbench itself and tried with new models and animations but nothing seems to fix it after the 1.19.4 update and i can't find any information online. Has this happened to somebody else? am i doing something wrong or is it just a glitch? i really need to use geckolib so i would be very glad if someone helped me to fix this

So I had an issue like this with incmod, where my creatures would play the walking animation eternally. while idle, while attacking, etc. What I had to do is make an actual idle animation. When I followed the tutorial it said the idle animation could be without keyframes. Fun fact... It can't. I would recommend making sure your idle animation does have at least one keyframe. Even if it's unnoticeable movement. Let me know if this helps!

I just tried this and still not working but thank you for the idea anyways! also I have noticed that even when the "get current procedure triggered animation" displays that no animation is being played, the item is still rendering the looping animation, I really hope I can fix this soon

I’m having this same problem! I’ll try to add a key frame to the idle animation, because I haven’t yet, but other than that I can’t get whatever animation I play to stop. I’m trying to make this microwave where if you right click it, it will open and change a logic tag, and then whenever you click it again, it will close. The tag will change and it will register that it’s clicked, but the animation won’t change!

Yep… still isn’t working. I know the animations all work because they will play, but once they do, I can’t get any other animations to play after them. Idk if this is a bug or if I’m missing something.

yeah still not working, just tried now, the procedures that start the animations work, the ones that stop do Not, is there a way to stop all animations or reset them with commands?

Still seems to be a prevalent Issue for practically all procedurally triggered animations...Not sure how to fix this either and have tried multiple solutions, if anyone knows of a solution let me know and If I find anything myself I'll be sure to update the forum,

I have the same problem but with armor the animation just keeps playing and i cant stop it.
