Topic category: Help with MCreator software
Playing with a friend on multiplayer with a modpack alongside a few mods ive made using mcreator ive noticed that the "attempt to override motion vector" function doesnt work at all for him, but it does for me.
everything else in the procedure works as intended, but the motion vector for my friend doesnt do anything, while when i use it, it works as intended.
this is the entire procedure in question.
This is meant to be some sort of "backwards dodge" type ability that launched the player in the oposite direction they are looking, this works for me, but my friend doesnt move at all.
bump, still cant figure out whats causing it, anyone help?
I don't know if this is helpful at all, but I have found that 'attempt to override motion vector' only affects players on client-side, other mobs are affected on server-side I think
that more or less what i was talking about, i cant seem to affect people on server side.
do you know of any alternatives?
I think the wait block might be causing problems, but I don't know why it would only work for 1 person.
i removed the wait but it didnt fix it.
any alternative methods..?
Something intresting changed, it seems like *sometimes* it works for my friend but other times it doesnt.
when put in combat (aka after being attacked by a mob) it seems to work, but outside of this it doesnt, which is completly different than how it works for me where it just works at any time.
This has to be a weird bug, right?
