Problems with Armor

I have a problem with my armor. Not the textures or models. The actual functionality. See, whenever I equip it using my survival inventory, meaning to click and drag it into its spot, it seems to be a ghost. It doesn’t display any armor points, and when I take damage, it disappears, or even when I try to take it off, it disappears. The only way around it is by moving it to my hotbar, exiting the inventory, and equipping it there. Then, it seems to work. My armor is stronger than netherite, so, could that be the issue? Or is it just the MCreator Fabric Generator(as I am using fabric)? Any help is thanked!
